bravo more than agreed when he told his friends that he had a very enrichning day with SMIA and Consulting symposium been the two best managed events of S.A.C. Yet, some of us could sense the dissatisfaction in bravo's innocent face as he later confessed it. bravo says that its been 6 months and he has been ONLY learning the ways to manage downturn. he also agreed to mention some of the key learnings:
1. to manage downturn do not marry cos the risk will turn into danger.
2. to manage supply chain in a downturn eat masala dosa as it gives a competitive advantage.
3. to manage downturn advice top 4 consultancy firms to do consultancy for SMEs so that they also become bankrupt and downturn is uniformly experienced in all sectors.
4. to manage downturn ask questions about why you should or should not diversify?
5. to avert financial crisis make a presentation, present in SMIA and win 1 lac rupees.
So when one of the S.A.C reporters asked bravo for his reason of frustration he said that now that downturn is over he has learnt so many ways to manage it but when he will passout from M.B.A. there will be a BOOM and he wont know how to manage in a BOOM.
So bravo envisaged that "W" cycle of recession will continue, though there is a boom now the moment he will passout from MBA widout knowing how to manage in a BOOM, the recession will be back. Hail Bravo! Do these Mc kinsey's have such a practical model to predict next recession??

ReplyDeleteafter reading the practical views of Bravo, I'm quite sure it was Bravo who yesterday asked - "what are the skills required to be a consultant".. while asking this Q, Bravo must've been pondering about the BOOM and how he'll manage it with requisite skills..
